How the scan works

Deterministic rules

Ten versioned rules (R1–R10) find likely duplicates and anomalies: matching invoice numbers and amounts, near-identical invoice numbers, repeat amounts within a set window, credit notes left unused, bank-detail changes, payments after a supplier ceased trading, and unusual round or weekend payments. Each duplicate group counts only the second and later payments as at risk.

Registers

Suppliers are checked against Companies House, The Gazette's insolvency notices and the FCDO UK Sanctions List. Every check is logged with its source and time.

Integrity Score

Starts at 100. We subtract up to 40 for the duplicate rate, 5 per red supplier flag (up to 25), 2 per amber flag (up to 10), 10 for any possible sanctions match, and up to 10 for data-quality gaps. Bands: 85+ Strong, 70–84 Fair, 50–69 At risk, below 50 Critical.
